Dec 2014 - Jan 2015 - Mexico!

We skipped Swedish Christmas and New Year's celebrations this year. We explored southern Mexico by local bus, and with light backpacks as luggage. The Yucatan peninsula and Chiapas are rich in history, Maya temples, colonial towns and beautiful nature and wildlife. We covered 2500 km by bus. Our route in brief: Cancun - Cichen Itza - Mérida - Campeche - Palenque - San Cristobal de las Casas - Tulum.
What a beautiful stay in friendly Mexico!
Greetings from the Ringdahl family.

October 2013 – Temba & Ola in Barcelona

Temba and Ola went to Barcelona to watch football. It was time for El Clásico, FC Barcelona – Real Madrid. Camp Nou was sold out, 99,000 spectators. And what an excellent football match! Barcelona won 2-1.

July-August 2013 – Family holiday in Italy

This summer we spent four weeks exploring Italy by Land Rover. After crossing the Alps, and checking out the villages of Cinque Terre, we enjoyed the treasures of Pisa.

Florence was lovely and we found a camp site with a swimming pool on the top of the Fiesole hill. Close to 35 degrees, and loads of Italian ice cream.

After stops in Siena and Chianti, we drove down to the Amalfi coast. Winding roads and lovely vistas.

Our next stop was the Vesuvio volcano, which we climbed in the pressing heat. We also visited Pompei, the city which was destroyed and buried by an eruption from Vesuvio in the year 79 A.D.

After the heat in southern Italy (close to 40 degress), we enjoyed some days on the beach on the east coast.

We passed San Marino on our way back. One of the smallest countries in the world, but very beautiful.

Upon returning to Sweden, it was time for the children to get back to school. Temba started seventh grade, Disa 4th, Tinna 2nd and Atlas also started school (preschool level). Ola started his new job, as CEO of Nord-Lock Group. Time to get busy again.

June 2013 – Disa & Ola in London

Disa and Ola went to London for a week. Wonderful days with musicals, strolls in the parks, Indian food, fish & chips and shopping.

June 2013 – Tinna & Ola in Paris

Tinna and Ola went to Paris for a week and had a lovely time in the city of culture, fashion, good food, and Disneyland.

So long California - vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

May the Force be with you!

Surfing, bodybuilding, t-shirts, marijuana-kliniker, tokstollar, skateboard. Härligt!

Hälsningar från Amerikas Venedig,
Atlas och Ola
